Spent the morning finishing a new batch of hand-stamped brass trays. Six new pieces just off the loom. The wool is from a flock we work with up in the Atlas, and the geometric pattern is one we've been refining for two years. Each runner is 80×220cm. Photos taken in our courtyard at sunset — the colors are very close to real.
Spent the morning wandering the dye souk in Marrakech. The skeins of wool drying on the rooftops, the way the sun catches the saffron piles — every corner is a photograph waiting to happen. Left with two kilos of natural indigo and a notebook full of sketches.
